In a quick resume, these months have been bittersweet. In March I enjoyed fallas with my  master degree’s friend Carlos and his friends, and I met my friend Sara from Madrid last  fallas’ night.

On April I went to Sicily with my sister to visit my dear friend Frank. He introduced us to the most lovely people we ever could meet, they gave us a wonderful time in Sicily and amazing memories (guys, I miss you all <3)

Next month, I spent a weekend in Bristol with my friend Cristina. Was really cool visit the city with her, the markets, places and pubs

After my two travels, I have been working in my master degree project  as hard I could until some weeks ago. Fisrt of July, I start working in Isabel Sanchís atelier, it’s a great place to learn about fashion business, how fashion industry works, I’m very happy but in my messy mind, something confusing comes over me…tell you more in future!

Oh no! Lo he vuelto a hacer, olvidé cumplir mi deseo y no he posteado nada desde febrero!

En un resumen rápido, estos meses han sido agridulces. In Marzo, disfruté de las fallas con mi amigo del máster Carlos y sus amigos, y estuve con mi amiga Sara de Madrid la última noche de fallas.

En abril fui a Sicilia con mi hermana a visitar a mi querido amigo Frank. Él nos presento a las personas más adorables que
jamás pudiéramos conocer, ellos nos dieron una estancia maravillosa en Sicilia, y unos recuerdos increíbles (chicos, os echo de menos a todos <3)

Al mes siguiente, me fui un fin de semana a Bristol con mi amiga Cristina. Fue muy guay visitar la ciudad con ella, los mercados, lugares y pubs

Después de mis dos viajes, he estado trabajando en el proyecto del máster lo más duro que he podido, hasta hace unas semanas. El uno de Julio, comencé a trabajar en el taller de Isabel Sanchis, es un lugar genial para aprender sobre el negocio de la moda, como la industria de la moda funciona. Estoy muy contenta, pero mi  mente desordenada, algo confuso me invade…Os cuento más en el futuro!!

Habitat del consumidor

At  the end, this New Year’s resolution will cost more than I thought, because it’s been a while since the last time I wrote. This has happened partly because I´ve been accumulating, a lot of job. Even I had to make a list of priorities! Uff!
During this time, several things happened, even I had time to make a special trip!

On the one hand, has held the X Valencia Fashion Week, it isn´t nothing spectacular (as the organization would like to be) but the truth is it was good enought, I got time too to help Tonuca, a designer from Valencia to mount the set where the performance of her  work took  place. It was great, and the designs exhibited were amazing, prints on dresses  look like papers, from here my congratulations!
Moreover, this week was held Premiere Vision, the textile and trends trade show taking place in Paris, where go designers, bussines and fashionvictims from worldwide. The trade is amazing, but considering when I got up (5 in the morning, WTF?!) Was an trapping experience:). The area I liked most was Indigo, which showed the patterns and trends coming and had some vintage clothes stalls.
Brief but concise, I’ll tell you more when I go down to-do list (I hope it´ll soon and fast).

Al final este propósito de año nuevo va a costar más de lo que pensaba, porque ha pasado ya un tiempo desde la última vez que escribí. Esto ha ocurrido, entre otras cosas porque la faena del máster  y demás cursos se me ha estado acumulando, incluso he tenido que hacer una lista de orden de prioridades!! Uff!

Durante este tiempo,  han pasado varias cosas, incluso me ha dado tiempo a hacer un viaje expres!

Por una parte, se ha celebrado la X Valencia Fashion Week, no es que sea nada espectacular (como a la organización le gustaría que fuera) pero la verdad es que no estuvo del todo mal, además estuve ayudando a Tonuca, una diseñadora de Valencia, a montar la escenografía donde se llevaría a cabo la performance de su trabajo. Fue genial, y los diseños que expuso fueron geniales, los estampados sobre tela hacían que parecieran vestidos de papel, desde aquí mi enhorabuena!

Por otra parte, esta semana se celebró Premiere Vision, la feria de muestras de textil y tendencias que se celebra en París y donde acuden diseñadores, empresas y modern@s de todo el mundo. La feria es una pasada, pero teniendo en cuenta el madrugón (las 5 de la mañana?!) fue una experiencia reventadora . La zona que más me gustó fue la de Índigo, donde mostraban los estampados y tendencias próximas  y había un buen número de puestos de ropa vintage.

Breve pero escueto, ya os iré contando  más cosas cuando mi lista de tareas vaya descendiendo (espero que sea pronto y rápido).

Let´s go:  Im gonna introduce you the first page of my work to the master degree, the concept book. The concept book is a kind of cataloge where a business shows their philosophy, its a really fun work, and I´m very happy with the results.

The problem, well my own problem, starts now, because I have to naming it…and I´m so bad with this business. So, if anyone have an idea, it´s welcomed!!

No mas escusas, tengo nueva conexion mejor y más rápida, asi que no tengo razón para abandonar mi proyecto blog!
Hayá vamos: Os voy a presentar la primera pagina de mi trabajo del master, el concept book. El concept book es un tipo de catalogo donde la empresa muestra su filosofía, es realmente un trabajo divertido, y estoy muy contenta con los resultados.
El problema, bueno MI problema, empieza ahora, porque tengo que “bautizarlo”…y soy muy mala con este tipo de cosas, Asi que si alguien tiene una idea…Será bien recibida!!:)

I started to use the bibliography which have given us in the master degree, the first one to fall is “The ephemal  empire” by Gilles Lipovetsky. Perhaps, I will understand better one of my lessons, which, although I find it very interesting, is also complex understanding.

At a glance, the book it’s a study about how clothing has influenced in society along centuries and how nowadays has become in a essential item in our lifes.

Personally, I find this kind of readings a bit dense, attends sociological issues and sometimes with a lot of philosopical contents too which although I find it very often really  surprising its very hard for me understand. However, I think that when I finish it, the information that it´ll give me, will be very useful

He comenzado a dar uso a la bibliografía que nos han dado en el máster, el primero en caer es “ El imperio de lo Efímero” de Gilles Lipovetsky.  Quizá así entenderé mejor una de las asignaturas, que, a pesar de que la encuentro muy interesante, es también compleja de comprensión.

A simple vista, el libro es un estudio sobre como a influido la indumentaria en la sociedad a lo largo de los siglos y como en la actualidad se ha convertido en un elemento esencial de nuestras vidas.

Personalmente, este tipo de lecturas me resultan un poco densas, trata temas sociológicos y en ocasiones con gran contenido filosófico que a pesar de encontrar muchas veces, tremendamente sorprendente me resulta  muy duro entender. No obstante, pienso que cuando acabe con él, la información que me aporte, será de gran utilidad

Quien diga que no soy positiva, miente!

Happy New Year for everyone!

Today I start my blog project, its time to be constant (or try, at least) and share with the world wide projects and pictures, draws and ideas, stuff…

To begin, I post you the first prototype I did for school. It´s a Yves Saint Lauren sahariana´s revival. It was my first proyect, it isnt awsome, but i think its quiet good. I´ve to say that luckily I showed it in “Somnis de festa i boda” catwalk in Vall d´Uxò on 2007. I hope you like it!

Feliz año nuevo para todos!

Hoy empiezo el proyecto de mi blog. Es hora de ser constante (o intentarlo, al menos) y compartir con la red mundial proyectos e imágenes, dibujos e ideas, cosas….

Par empezar, os subo el primer prototipo que hice para la escuela. Es un rediseño de la sahariana de Yves Saint Lauren. Fue mi primer proyecto, no es increíble, pero creo que está bastante bien. He de decir, que afortunadamente lo mostré en la pasarela “Somnis de festa i boda” en la Vall d´Uxò en 2007. Espero que os guste!

Por qué no son tan bonitas todas las aceras, como lo son en Barcelona. La ciudad respira diseño, se alimenta de la gente, vive del consumo…me encanta.

Este dibujito y pasar dos hilvanes es todo lo que hice el jueves pasado en clase de patronaje de lencería, a ver que me espera mañana, ojala sea un poco mas productivo que la semana anterior.
